This game really needs a 2nd player (even an AI) to be enjoyable.

The graphics could be better, but the characters are motivated.
What annoyed me was the controls because I had no idea what to press to make the game move forward. Also the tumbler code clues was hard to find.
That's fair. Sorry about the confusion, I should've included the instructions in the description.
Graphics look alright.
Wish you could shoot in multiple directions all at once (like a bullet hell). Also wish it had more tracks, more scenery and more weapons. It's like I'm playing the same level over and over again.
This game really needs a story just to give things more context.
Wish you mentioned the loss of motivation first.
I did. It's at the first level.
Stacking your fighters to merge is actually hard to do. I tried to merge many of them & they just ended up forming a wall. There was also no way to get those fighters back in action.
I like the puzzles, but certain ones (like the target one) feel unforgiving.
This spaceship needs multi-directional guns.
I was thinking of doing something like that.
Liked the narrative, wish squeaky sound from the button didn't make it seem funny. The people not looking like people makes it feel even less depressing.
Liked how you could play both characters & both had clear motivations. It needs better visuals.
It does feel like a walking simulator rather than a game. I found the art style really jarring, especially sine Gogo looks 40 (I blame her over-rendered nose).
