This spaceship needs multi-directional guns.
This spaceship needs multi-directional guns.
I was thinking of doing something like that.
I wish it had checkpoints so if you died you didn't have to start all over again. Wish you could slash in midair. The hidden chests really encouraged me to explore more. I like the visuals!
Thanks for your thoughts on the game. I am glad you appreciate the work I put into it, and understand your pain with the checkpoints and the slashing in midair.
Really immersive. Wish it had an online save feature (where I could just save from my account). Also finding the Red Gobling was nigh impossible in my playthrough.
Can't wait for the second chapter!
Thank you :) The gobling should be in the second of the three Darkhart maps.
The game is extremely repetitive. The only way I knew I held a different weapon was because of the shot type. I expected to move around but the only control was for the guns. I wish the shop also showed up in the player screen since upgrading it on the fly would make the game play faster.
Glad it has a pause button. More games need it these days.
Thank you for playing and reviewing! It is repetitive, yes. But I am lost as how to fix the repetitive aspect that is present within the game, any ideas? All guns have varying sound effects and different graphics, also the shells fly out differently per gun. The game was made with mobile devices in mind (for simple taps and touch screens), which is why there is a pause button and why it can be played without using the keyboard. I suppose I could of added the shop to the pause screen, but I kinda liked the idea of having players dying to buy upgrades as its an incentive for more "replay" value. I will remember and consider all your opinions when the sequel is started! Thanks again!! :)
The visuals are great. The controls feel wonky- the character couldn't do the combos fast enough.
Hi, thank you for your response. :)
Could you please elaborate further on the character couldn't do the combos fast enough? Which enemy are you fighting against?
Great game for the resources you got!
Wish there was something I could do during the daytime though, because the monsters are plently. Walked from end to end of the stage expecting to see more but it was just that one area.
Art makes it look pretty polished though.
Thank you, this is motivating :D
Thought it was alright. Find it slow (because of all the reading) and lonely (because of the fact I have to travel alone in this game).
Thanks for playing and for the review :)
Couldn't get past the 1st level. The cube jumps so low it touches the red platforms.
No it dosent
Controls are wonky. Atkins freezes for a few seconds if he fails a jump & takes a while to get moving again. Oh, and he can't jump unless he's moving.
There's also a bar on the left that depletes itself the more you jump which makes playing feel worse.
At this point just walking straight through the spikes & the ghosts seems easier.
Ahh - its not doing that for me :(
